The Story of Do Numbri




The story of Do Numbri is full of action, drama, comedy, and romance. The movie starts with Raju being arrested by the police for possessing fake money and drugs. He escapes from custody and goes to meet his friend Dumru, who is a taxi driver. Dumru tells him that he has found a job for him as a bodyguard for a rich man named Arun. Raju agrees to go to Arun's house. There, he meets Madhu, who is Arun's maid and also Raju's sister. He also meets Arun's three sisters, who are all pregnant by different men. Raju is shocked to see that Arun is a cruel and ruthless man who tortures his sisters and Madhu. He also learns that Arun is the one who framed him for the fake money and drugs. Raju decides to expose Arun and get justice for his sister and Arun's sisters. He also falls in love with one of Arun's sisters, Rani.


Meanwhile, Dumru is revealed to be a double agent who works for Arun. He informs Arun about Raju's plan and tries to stop him. He also tries to kill Raju several times, but fails. Raju manages to find the men who are the fathers of Arun's sisters' children. They are a doctor, a lawyer, and a police officer. Raju blackmails them and forces them to marry Arun's sisters. He also confronts Arun and challenges him to a fight. Arun accepts the challenge and tells Raju to meet him at a warehouse. There, he has arranged a trap for Raju. He has kidnapped Madhu and Rani and threatens to kill them if Raju does not surrender. Raju arrives at the warehouse and fights with Arun and his goons. He manages to rescue Madhu and Rani and defeats Arun. He also reveals that Dumru is his twin brother who was separated from him at birth. He convinces Dumru to join him and apologize for his mistakes. Dumru agrees and helps Raju in arresting Arun. The movie ends with Raju marrying Rani and living happily with his family.

Mithun Chakraborty as Raju/Dumru




Mithun Chakraborty is the star of the movie, playing a double role as Raju and Dumru. He showcases his versatility as an actor by portraying two contrasting characters with ease. He is convincing as both the hero and the villain, switching between them with flair. He displays his charisma, action skills, comedy timing, and romance in the movie. He is especially impressive in the scenes where he interacts with himself as Raju and Dumru, creating a believable chemistry between them.
